DESCRIPTION:The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce\, along with partners SUNY Oneonta\, Hartwick College and League of Women Voters\, are proud to present a regional debate on October 28\, 2025. Candidates from five local races of interest will make their case for voter support.\n\nRaces and candidates:\n\nMayor of Oneonta: Dan Butterman and Louisa Montanti\n\nOneonta Common Council 7th Ward: Michael Forster Rothbart and Carolyn Marks (declined)\n\nTown of Oneonta Supervisor: Brett Halloran and Will Rivera\n\nOtsego County Board of Representatives 4th District: Michelle Catan and Eammon Hinchey\n\nOtsego County Board of Representatives 13th District: Michele Clapperton and Donald Scanlon\, Jr.\n\nThe event starts at 6pm and will last until 8:30pm. It will be held at the Bettiol Theater in the Foothills Performing Arts Center. It is free and open to the public. Everyone will be required to act in a respectful manner.
